We look to provide experiences that involve the use of as many senses as possible so that the children can make meaning of the world in which they live. Currently, we have individual tubs that we use for sensory experiences but would like a sensory table so that a small group of children can work together on projects. This will enhance not only their academic learning but the social development as well. The children enjoy and need sensory experiences to aid their overall development and we would like to enhance this opportunity by being able to develop their social skills at the same time as their academic skills by them learning to negotiate the use of classroom materials.

About my class
