Our school is a dual language elementary, and because of this we switch classes every day. When my second class comes in the afternoon, we end up spending a lot of time passing out materials as they do not have their own desks. I often find my second class falling behind my first as we spend so much time getting ready each day. Seat bags will give my afternoon class a place to store their notebooks and supplies so that we make the most of our instruction time. My partner teacher has these seat bags in her class and has found that it is a great way to minimize transition time. As my students come in, they will immediately be able to get out what they need and we will be able to get right to work. Minutes are very tight at our school due to our use of English and Spanish in our instruction, and for this reason we need to make the most of the time we have. These seat bags are the best option to help
