"Ms A, I want to read more books!" This is something I hear in my class most days during independent reading. Most of my students are English Learners and are proud in their ability to grow in the English fluency and comprehension. As a teacher, I wish I had more resources to feed into their desire to read. This project would fund a much-needed leveled library that my 21 students which they could use during independent reading. My class has a wide range of reading levels (very low to very high) which explains why I've requested many bins. Second grade is the magical year where students go from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." I hope you can make this library a reality for my students. Thank you!
