Your generous help would allow my students to use Kindle Fire to enrich their learning activities. Most of my students do not have a computer or even a tablet in their home. I teach Guided Reading as well as Guided Math in small groups. The Kindles will allow my students to read books on their own reading level as well as use appropriate apps so they can increase their reading and math skills. Teaching is memorable when we are able to differentiate students learning and enrich their background knowledge. I will teach the students how to use the Kindle Fire appropriately and how they can be used to engage them in their learning in multiple ways. Then the students will use these independently at a station during Reading and Math time. I have asked for them through the school, but unfortunately there isn’t enough money in the budget.
