These students are special needs children who require specially designed instruction in order to be academically successful. The classroom is located in their local high school. The children previously attended a school outside of their own school district because a Life Skills classroom was not available in house. Many of the classroom materials were acquired by the classroom teacher at yard sales, estate sales, flea markets and discount stores in an effort to keep personal costs to a minimum.
