Flexible setting is paramount for my students. My students struggle daily staying still. They often need to walk around, tilt their chairs back (often falling out of them), sit on the floor or stand up and hunch over their desks. The standup desk will allow my students to stand up and stretch their legs. Students are required to sit at their desks for 6+ hours each day, for my students this is unrealistic. The wobble cushions will enable my students to either sit on the floor and wiggle on their chairs without being a distraction. Another benefit for my students would be the power of choice. THEY will get to choose what sort of setting they will use. Choice is something my students don't really get a lot of. They will get the chance to evaluate what helps them stay focused during class, is it standing up? Sitting on the floor? Sitting in a regular chair? Sitting on the wobbly chair? The choices are Flexible!
