I teach a fabulous group of second graders who are very eager to learn. They have come a long way in their reading, however, some still need additional help with their reading comprehension. I want to continue to foster my students' love of reading by including some of "the classics" in my reading lessons that will also allow me to address the different components of reading comprehension.
