We are planning to read a full-length novel in Quarter 2 - Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya. Most of my students have never been taught to read a book by a Latinx author, though 90%+ of my students are Latinx. They want to hold this book in their hands. While class is continuing online in our county and most of the state, for now, we all spend too much time staring at screens. I would love to be able to teach this book, online, but to have my students have their own copies with them at home.
