The students, teachers and instructional aides I work with on a daily basis perpetually inspire and amaze me! I am first and foremost an SLP who found her niche working with non-verbal and minimally verbal students by helping them to communicate in other ways (picture exchange, tablet communication devices, record-able single message buttons, just to name a few!); but I have recently made the jump to support all types of unique learners through other forms of assistive technology. My district is working to develop its very own assistive technology department/materials lending library. We know our kids have so much potential to be stellar students and community members, they just need creative thinking and a few extra tools to make it happen. A big THANK YOU in advance to the supporters here at Donor's Choose for helping me to help all of my unique learners and communicators be the best that they can be!
