We are developing our own student-run school news channel. I teach my students how to use video equipment and how to use software to edit their video content to create final products that can be used in our school campus and in our school's website. Our video projects will include video narratives, interviews, short films stories, school event highlight reels, and school advertising videos. We are in need of a few good, wireless, handheld and lapel microphones. These microphones will allow us to capture good clean audio from our students and staff and deliver a better quality product. My students work in groups and are encouraged to work together through all the video production process which entails brainstorming, writing, planning and executing their ideas.
