Hello to all, I am a first year teacher and recently a grad school graduate and I am very excited to begin my teaching experience as a dual language teacher. I have a strong passion for bilingual and bi-literate education in an urban setting. I strongly believe that having fluency in a second language helps students become marketable and have ownership of their own culture through language. I am a passionate advocate for social justice learning and I hope to encourage students to value different ethnicities, languages, and cultures.
