Thank you for your consideration to support my students! My name is Luna Terauchi, and I am a first-year teacher excited to start the school year! In just one week, I will have the pleasure of meeting 25 of the most brilliant kindergarteners who have entrusted their inaugural education with me. Their vulnerability goes without question, and it is up to us to provide the excellent education that they deserve. I will be teaching in Southwest Detroit where a majority of my students hold identities of low-income and Hispanic backgrounds. These resources are essential to instill within them the excitement and importance of their education; therefore, to find love in education and spread their knowledge around the world. With your support, we can make their first year of school a beautiful one!
