When you walk into my classroom, you don't see a dull or plain classroom. I work extremely hard to provide my students with everything they would need in a day for school, but sometimes, I come up short. That's where donorschoose.org comes into play. I try my hardest to teach my students what they need to learn in Kindergarten along with basic life lessons--how to be friends, how to treat one another, manners, etc. I want my students to WANT to come to school. The fact that they don't have certain supplies or necessities should not stop a child from coming to school or learning. Our vision/mission is to provide a safe, high quality teaching and learning environment in which every student and teacher learns to collaborate, communicate, create, and think critically. By myself (as the teacher) trying to create a loving and educational atmosphere, I can reach all the students that I need to impact on learning.
