Having various styles of Math/Science-focused children's literature will allow my students to develop a deeper level of core-content knowledge through the engaging practices involved in reading. Merging these subjects provides an enriching opportunity to see Math/Science with a different perspective. When Math/Science are full of algorithms and expressions, literature can relieve their minds, and still have it be related to what they are learning. These Math and Science books bring Math/Science to life. These books will allow me to provide a library that my students need in order to help foster the reality that Math/Science go beyond the classroom walls.
