We are a high poverty, urban school in Indiana. My students face homelessness, violence and many other obstacles that get in the way of their education. Over half of the school population speaks English as a second language. Some of my students walk to school and others ride a bus. They come from all parts of the city because of the type of school we have. We have teachers that specialize in ESL that can help work those students that need services.
