Everyday in my STEM Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Project Lead the Way class my 6th grade students are creating, building, and working on engaging hands-on activities. To maximize creative potential, I hope to create a makers' space to hold and organize recyclables, school supplies and building materials for my students to easily find and create all their projects. By creating storage options to organize makers' materials students will be able to create and innovate all their creative ideas more effectively. Additionally, my unique learners would benefit from a variety of seating to maximize comfort and better meet their creative needs. By allowing students the options of comfortable seating, students will be able to move about the room to foster their creative ideas. I hope to bring comforts of home and create an environment that inspires creativity!
