Our school is located in a rural section of North Carolina. Most of the families in the area are blue-collar workers and many fall below the poverty line. Our school was again declared Title I for the 2014-2015 school year, due to the fact that 62% of its students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our school is expected to have 370 enrolled students and approximately 40 staff members for the 2013-2014 school year. 65% of the students are Caucasian, 30% Hispanic, and the remaining 5% are African American, Asian, or Multiracial.
