I teach English to eighth graders in a Title I school. 60% of our students are economically disadvantaged, and 20% are considered to be at risk. They are bright and eager to learn, especially when there is technology involved. Some of our students have limited or no access to computers and iPads outside of school, so it is important that I expose them to as many types and uses of technology as possible while they are in my classroom.
