I am requesting leveled readers in the most common levels used by first graders. My students need these leveled readers to ensure they can choose a "good fit" book for themselves to read. After teacher led guided reading groups, students practice what they have learned. Students read the books in class then take them home to practice with family and friends. These readers will allow my students to become fluent readers at their current level and propel them forward. There is no limit to how many students' reading skills will be increased by reading these books. They will be used for years to come!
