This year, I want my children to become avid readers. It is only through reading a book where my students will grow in exponential ways. My desire this upcoming school year is to have my students exposed to a plethora of books and ramp their volume of reading. I want my students to carry the wealth of knowledge that a book can provide - which in essence be their line of privilege in life. For my students to become avid readers, they must be given books that are of their interest and of their reading level. Our classroom and school library is filled with old and unattractive books. My students are in need of the latest books and books that they would be able to relate with.

About my class
