Colors and Shapes activity mats will be used to give young students structure and a safe "home base" they can return to during class. Scarves and Ribbons provide tactile movement inspiration for young learners. The sensory tunnel will provide a fun low-level movement experience especially useful for students with special needs like autism. The balance beam will help dancers build balance and coordination. Hula hoops will have several uses, such as building motor and coordination skills, serving as personal space "bubbles" for students with difficulties keeping hands to themselves, and providing circles to jump in while traveling across the floor. All materials encourage movement exploration and contribute to a movement obstacle course.
