I envision creating reading, writing, speaking, and listening stations throughout my classroom to help promote literacy within the discipline of ELA. Engagement and creating a differentiated classroom is key, I want my students to WANT to come to school! The chromebooks will be used as a literacy tool inside my classroom. According to the NCTE,"technology keeps progressing, so does the definition of being literate progresses. The requirements for this are: developing proficiency and fluency with the tools of technology, building intentional cross-cultural connections and relationships with others, design and share information for global communities, manage, analyze, and synthesize steams of information, create, critique, analyze, and evaluate multimedia texts, and attend to ethical responsibilities required by these complex environments."(2013)
