I have the privilege of teaching gifted students in grades 3 through 5. These students are usually inquisitive and ready to learn about the world around them. They always have more energy than I do, but they keep me going strong! Students in the gifted education program have above average intelligence as evidenced by classroom work samples and iq tests. Because of their intelligence they need less time in their classrooms reviewing and practicing materials. Therefore, they are able to come to my classroom one day per week for more challenging assignments.
