McKinley Schools are specialized district-wide therapeutic day settings in Boston Public, dedicated to the education of students kindergarten through 12th grade who have a moderate-severe emotional impairment and/or behavioral challenges. Many of our students have a traumatic past and have endured numerous transitions (school and home) prior to stabilizing at McKinley. Students often come from low socioeconomic areas, and many live at residential settings due to unsafe behavioral patterns. McKinley's staff is dedicated to fostering safe and positive educational classrooms for our students each day. Many times, McKinley Schools are the first place a student can feel successful!
