My students are showing up every day for distance learning but it hasn't been easy. In spite of a focus on Social Emotional Learning and creating engaging lessons, many students are hesitant to engage. What better way to forge connections than through the love of good books? I am revamping my Language Arts program to include a book challenge to encourage students to read more and to expand the variety of genres that they read. Having a choice in the books that they read and reading more, will support our Language Arts program and increase engagement. Thank you for your support.
