My 24 Kindergarten students are amazing! They come from poverty stricken homes, but that doesn't stop the love for learning. All of the students are on free/reduced lunch. For most, our Kindergarten classroom is their first experience in school. My students love to come to school. I strive every day to make school, the best, first school experience of their life. We are constantly busy learning, investigating, working, and playing. It is amazing to see the "lightbulbs" in their head turn on when they learn something new. Kindergarten standards have changed drastically over the past 10 years. Kindergarten students are expected to read fluently, write stories, add, subtract, and get along, just to name of few. Our day consists of rotations in reading (Daily 5) and math (Math Stations). We learn basic skills needed to be successful in the future with First Grade. Integrating technology allows
