Connecting the Osmo kits to the Fire Tablets will turn core subjects like math and spelling into fearless fun. The Genius kit will encourage visual thinking, problem solving and creative drawing skills. The Osmo Coding Awbi game will teach coding fundamentals, logic and problem solving skills. Whereas with Osmo Coding Jam, students will place tangible blocks into patterns and sequences (coding), then they will create and layer melodies, drum beats and more while building original compositions with fun characters from different worlds. Combining unique coding blocks into sequences will make their beat come alive. With the Osmo Pizza and Co. kit, students can make pizzas, place their orders, collect payment, and count out the change, learning fundamental life skills. Osmo is a great introduction to the concept of coding. When my students join the workforce, coding is projected to be one of the most needed skills. This will help prepare them for a bright future as coders.
