At an ethnically diverse school where nearly 50% of the student body has free/reduced price lunch, this project will serve a wide spectrum of students from various backgrounds. Currently, students who attend the weekly club meetings range from sophomores through seniors. These students eagerly enjoy each others' company while challenging each other at a few games of chess, or find themselves busy sorting through Magic the Gathering cards I've provided from my own collection. With the help of this project, the hope is that this weekly gathering will provide students with a fun environment to meet with friends (or new friends) to relax, enjoy conversation, and perhaps play a variety of tabletop games!
