My students need a cozy classroom library with two Display Racks, an indoor rug, and four Big Joe Dorm Chairs and two Shagalicious Bedrests, where they can feel comfortable and learn to enjoy reading. It is my goal for my third graders to learn that reading is something fun and not something to dread. I want to build a classroom library that is inviting and comfortable for my kiddos. I don't want them to have to just read at their desk or on the floor. By creating this classroom library, I will be able to help motivate students to want to read because they will have somewhere comfortable and fun to go. I am also planning on incorporating a "Buddy bench" where they can read with a partner. The idea is that they will want to spend time in the library, and in turn read much more than if they were stuck in their desks. My goal is simply to get them reading more and more!!!!
