My students come from a smaller California city, full of exciting situations for them to grab hold of. However, many of them are held back from these situations because of their disabilities. My students have autism, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, attention disorders, intellectual disabilities, and speech disabilities. Life skills help them to be more comfortable in school, at home, and in the community because they are able to better function in those situations. They are wonderful, loving kids who really do want to learn more social skills to better bond with their peers. Their biggest wish is to be successful.

About my class
