The students in this school come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of the children come from homes that have very little educational resources and/or support. Over 50% of the students are receiving free and reduced meals at school daily. These students desire attention and interactive lessons. The students at our school enjoy using manipulatives during math and enjoy taking nature field trips to learn about the world around them. They also enjoy writing about things that they have done and would like to do. These students are hands-on learners and will truly benefit from the Learning Through Life Cycles project.
