With students learning at home, they do not have access to the library's maker-space which engages their creativity and critical-thinking skills. Donations will allow us to augment our curbside literacy promotion by giving students mini-STEAM activities that the whole family can enjoy. With our mini-kits, families will strengthen their bond during this stressful period by creating art or designing structures, benefiting students emotionally as well as academically. Our students love to create, but as a Title I school, they often lack these materials at home; these mini-kits will enhance their learning and family time which will be a giant win!
