I teach kindergarten students who ages range from 5 through 7 years old. They are excited about learning and love school. Kindergarten is their very first experience with school and I want to ignite their curiosity about the world around them. Our school is centered around project based learning. This allows the students to have authentic learning experiences that are purposeful and meaningful to them. Our school mission is that the students will be able to solve real world problems. Therefore, the students activities are centered around problem solving which allows them to develop critical thinking skills. Our students will be willing and able to tackle problems, find solutions, and explore ideas. Through this process they will learn how to work collaboratively and learn from each other. Our school is also innovative and looks for new ways to reach students. Thus the students will be enthusiastic about learning and able to compete and function in a global society.

About my class
