We are 2 kindergarten teachers who hope to purchase 2 iPads which include protective cases. These devices will benefit 50 students for they will be shared by our classrooms. The iPads will be used to differentiate instruction for independent learning, as well as in small group and learning centers. We will be able to provide alternatives to current curriculum and focus on less traditional ways to provide enrichment and intervention. With these iPads, we will also be able to use our schools OSMO, which will provide an interactive, hands-on approach to learning. With this type of technology, we will be able to appeal to all learning styles, making our students more successful. iPads in the classroom will also allow our students to document their own work and reflect on their learning independently. They can even share their learning with their parents at home through secure apps!
