I recently moved from New Jersey to Colorado, from a wealthy district to one in which 85% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. My new school is in desperate need of books. These children deserve the same resources and literature-rich experiences the students from my previous district received. My school is called a turn-around school. The entire staff is brand new, and we are going to do our best to turn-around our school from a low performing one to a high performing one.
