My students all live in the inner city of Baltimore. Ninety-five percent of my students qualify for free lunches. Many of them are from single parent homes or being raised by foster care. With all the obstacles they face, they come in every day ready to learn. They are like sponges and have grown so much already. Only a couple of them have books at home. Please help me create life-long learners!
