All of my students who come to my STEM lab love to design and build things with their own hands. And cardboard boxes are easy-to-find materials at no cost, which is the perfect material to learn about the Engineering Design Process (Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test, and Improve). With your help, my Kinder through 5th grade students will be able to safely cut, fold, and join cardboard boxes to bring their imagination to life. Some students will start dreaming about being an architect, a carpenter, or an engineer. Having positive experiences with STEM encourages students to stay in school and to pursue a higher education in STEM fields, which can help stop the cycle of poverty. Please support their future.
