The Foundations for Superior Performance method book for band students is highly regarded as one of the TOP method books for middle and high school students. Every key signature, scale, arpeggio, chorale, articulation exercise, technical exercise and warm up routine is covered in depth, and is widely used by all successful band programs. My students will benefit greatly from having this method book. Studies have shown that students who study a musical instrument are more likely to excel in all of their studies, work better in teams, have better attendance, have better critical thinking skills, stay in school and pursue further education. In these uncertain times, music programs are being decimated and keeping my students motivated is one of my top priorities. If funded, this project will help push my students to excel through their musical abilities and benefit them for years to come.
