The class libraries requested include different genres that emerging teens are interested in. It will motivate students by encouraging voluntary and recreational reading. Dictionaries with more visuals are very helpful to ESL learners. They help to create a context for words that would be otherwise confusing. Naturally, students respond better to images than to just texts and words. The headphones requested help to connect students to their Chromebook devices without being distracting to other learners. The external drive requested will be useful in accessing resources that are on CD/DVD. Current district laptops and devices do not have the components necessary to read/print/download these resources for the classroom.
