Our school sits in the middle of a poverty pocket. My preschool students are primarily considered at risk due to language and vocabulary needs. Many of the children are English Language Learners, while others have speech needs or limited depth of vocabulary. However, all the children demonstrate potential. I strive to provide opportunities to experience the joy of learning and reading.
