Thank you for taking an interest in my project. I teach 5th grade Math to approximately 100 students split into 4 classes. Imagine writing on a piece of lined paper all day long; how boring is that - I want my students to have fun! In my Math class, we first take short notes in our Interactive notebooks. Then we pull out our whiteboards/Expos and practice the problems on there so I can get immediate feedback with the students holding up their answers. On some days, we also get out big sheet paper/markers and the students work in groups collaboratively to solve word problems. A presentation is then done to the class. I also like to incorporate as much technology as possible. I have an Interactive Whiteboard and a class set of computers in my classroom that the students utilize to enhance their learning experience. I hope you decide to support a piece or all of my project. Thank you!
