Hi! I am an Elementary School Counselor with Oklahoma City Public Schools. School counseling is an integral part of the school system. Besides academic achievement, students need social-emotional tools to grow and be successful. I have 500 students with a variety of different backgrounds, experiences and opportunities. Most of my students referred to me are faced with many issues, from parents' divorce, incarceration, deportation, drug use, mental health and other stressors that could hinder their learning.
