This is a new age generation of technology savvy children that are used to having touch screens on phones and tablets. They are now using the mouse, but many of them are still having a difficult time adjusting to the use of the mouse. The new touch screen monitors will allow them to navigate better and enhance their knowledge of the uses of technology. The use of touch screen monitors for the student will assist them in their navigation through the computer system. These monitors are high quality pieces of equipment that we will teach our student how to care for and use in the proper manner, technology. When we are working on different studies in the classroom the children can have the opportunity to look up pictures that coincide with the discussions. Also there are time when they have online books where they have to click the mouse to turn the pages and many of them are not able to and so the teacher must be there to help them switch out pages, but with the touch screen monitor they would be able to navigate through the system on their own with minimal help or assistance. Some of the students do not have computers or internet at home. Most of the student do use their parents cell phones at home and they are touch screen. I would like to bring a exciting new experience to our students that can follow them through their school years. As they move into elementary school, there will be more technology use as the year formulate and the students grow. We are trying to give them a head start on learning technology. I want to make their preschool experience memorable. We also would like to move into the new age with technology.
