Flexible seating is a way for students to have control of their learning and their learning environment. Imagine sitting in a hard plastic chair all day.... boring right? Flexible seating will allow for more engagement from my students but also be an outlet for the students that become overstimulated and frustrated. My students have various obstacles to overcome each day. They deserve a classroom environment that meets each individual need they have while allowing them an encouraging learning environment. Students will be able to move throughout the classroom and learn in a location that is fitting for them. Students will be able to collaborate easier with each other but also work alone if needed with the use of flexible seating.
