In high school, one of my teachers told me daily to "make the world a better place because I am in it". I am choosing to make my mark on the world by loving and teaching an amazing group of twenty-five third graders from various backgrounds and ethnicities, including Caucasian, Hispanic, and Marshallese. More than 80% of my students receive free/reduced lunch and over 60% of my students are English Language Learners. My classroom is structured to meet the unique learning needs, interests, and goals of every student I teach. Every child in my classroom family, no matter their background, has the amazing potential to be a learner and a leader- they just need to be shown how to shine bright and leave their mark on the world!
