I will use the camera and drone to help my students understand the ecosystems around them and help solve problems across the world. Each student will take turns programming the drone and taking photos of ecosystems around their school, home, and town. They will then come together as a class and decide which photos best represent the area that we inhabit. Once they have studied the photos and brainstormed what they can do to help keep our areas clean and safe; we will connect with students across the country and eventually the world to share our photos and ask for some in return. My hope is that they will develop new friendships, learn to desegregate data, come to conclusions, and learn to be solution seekers. Our ultimate goal will be to help our friends in Uganda solve a problem with their water supply.
