These books will help guide the students in their understanding of peace, acceptance, and civil unity; a very important skill for the future of our youth. By reading about the civil leaders of our past the students will be able to understand how obstacles were overcome and the importance of coming together. Today's world depends on our youth learning to look past their differences and come together to make a better tomorrow. Please help my students learn about powerful leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, and a group of young teenagers fighting to overcome segregation. Your donation will help students understand the importance of being brave and standing up for what is right.
