Experience gives relevance to learning. Becoming immersed in relevant experience brings lasting and life-long learning. As a STEAM & Multimedia Tech educator, my students look to me to give them that relevancy and permanance. As middle schoolers, my students are at a stage when passions, careers and next steps in education are increasing in importance. They want to understand how science, technology, engineering, arts, and math are not isolated subjects, but an interconnected part of their life. They deserve the innovative, creative and relevant experiences that will inspire them to continue to seek their passions, explore opportunities and prepare for a continually growing technilogical world.
