The document camera will allow my students to share their problem-solving techniques real-time with their peers. I will use the document camera in all of the core subjects: Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. For example, in Math, I plan to use the document camera to teach different addition strategies, subtraction strategies and practice with fact family relationships. When students are able to see things right away, and learn from their peers, the experience "sticks" and stays with them. In my experience using a document camera, my students excelled and were even more enthusiastic to learn and share their findings!
