My classroom is full of life and inspiration. I teach a classroom with students that have deficiencies on their intellectual abilities, but that have a great spirit of adaptation. My students love looking at, scanning, and reading books, specially Dr. Seuss and science books. They love music, but they specially love the alphabet and number rock songs. The school they attend is in an impoverished area of Southern California where the parents are not able to financially support the classroom and the school has suffered extreme cuts. Our classrooms have limited resources in comparison to other schools in other neighborhoods around, so the teachers try to provide as much as they can in order to enrich the classroom experience. It is my goal to have the richest literary and educational experience for my students. It is my goal to expand my library to include all reading levels of awesome classic literary authors.
